A whole lot of Bullock Farms 2 row malt, and some lightly roasted crystal malt come together to create a clean malt profile that balances nicely with the big hop bill. Generously hopped with Summit and Chinook, and finished with a healthy dose of El Dorado. The result is a balanced hop character where you’ll find pine and citrus, with a whole lot of tropical fruit a desperado is said to be a reckless renegade, an outlaw with a cutthroat sensibility and pirate mentality. This IPA says Cheers to the desperado in all of us.
The rye in this IPA creates a complex and spicy malt profile that’s complimented with our peppery Columbus whole cone hops. Chinook and Centennial contribute juicy citrus and pine notes to balance out this truly unique farm brew.
Brewed in honor of the Allentown High School 1998 Athlete of the Year, Ryan Bullock.
This blonde ale is all about the Habañero peppers grown on our farm. Its low enough on the scoville scale that most can enjoy it, but hot enough that the delicious habañero flavor is there to enjoy. Calypso is used for finishing hops for a little fruity aroma to go with the floral aroma of the peppers. Don’t be such a sissy, just try it!
The Screamin’ Hill flagship beer, inspired by flowing fields of green and golden wheat that cover acres of our farm. This American style wheat beer with a low ester profile, is clean, crisp and refreshing. Our NJ winter red wheat dominates the malt bill, which is rounded out with our 2 row barley and some lightly roasted malt. Chinook, Nugget and Willamette make up the mild but noticeable herbal to floral aroma. Farmland preservation helps to keep NJ the Garden State. We are proud to be a preserved farm, and we are proud to serve our Preservation Wheat.
A collaborative brew with our good friends at Cream Ridge Winery. For every Valentines day we brew a companion to their Cocoa Currant wine including the same ingredients. Chocolatey smoothness dominates right alongside a delightful tartness from the black currant fruit. Truly a seasonal favorite in Cream Ridge.
This American style stout is all about the vanilla. We use real vanilla beans added two different times for outstanding flavor and aroma. Black and chocolate malts combine with roasted malts to create a velvety richness for your mouth.
History states that one of the earliest European settlers to what is now Monmouth county was a woman who lived to be 110 years old named Penelope Stout.
A hybrid American amber/ Irish red that drinks light and crisp. The low hop profile allows the malt to come through nicely with slight roasted notes, and a caramel sweetness. A rusty farmer is a hardworking individual who has spent far too long outside in the elements working his/her butt off, and has truly earned themselves a farm fresh beer.
We asked our Harvesters what new beer they’d like us to brew for our annual Harvest Club Pig Roast. This Pale ale was the result of their combined ideas, and has quickly become an all-time favorite! It’s brewed with a simple malt bill of farm raised 2 row and lightly roasted crystal, calypso hops for aroma, as well as the juice and zest from a whole bunch of blood oranges for that unique sweet and bitter citrus zing. There’s a lot of blood sweat and tears that goes into farming and brewing. Since we cant put real blood in beer, this is the next best thing
In this series we will be using our 10bbl white-oak feudor. What really makes this unique is not only will it be brewed will Bullock Farms malt, but it will be fermented with a blend of saison and brett yeast that will actually live inside the oak panels. This will give each rendition of the series it’s own unique flavors.
